John Ryan, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, spent his formative years
in South Florida before enrolling at The Ohio State University in 1997.
There he earned a degree in Military History and Intelligence Studies.
Post graduation, John spent a decade in Columbus, Ohio, engaging in
the residential construction and real estate sector.
In 2006, he returned to South Florida to join his family’s business, Trend
Design Build, as the Construction Operations Manager. Under his
leadership, he managed numerous residential and commercial projects,
and spearheaded the growth of the company’s main offices and design
studio in Hallandale, FL.

In 2011, armed with extensive experience and a robust network of
industry partners, John founded Domus Construction Design Build Inc.
Based in South Florida, with offices in Davie and Naples, FL, Domus
has emerged as a leader in the region’s construction industry, handling a
variety of complex projects and delivering top-tier construction services.
John’s expertise extends to luxury residential projects as well as
commercial projects servicing a diverse clientele including property
management companies, medical facilities, and surgical centers.

Residing in Cooper City, Florida, John is married to Suzie and is a
devoted father to two daughters, Sienna and Alessia. Outside of work,
his passions include reading, book collecting, history, playing classical
and jazz music on piano, gardening, and tactical firearms training. His
primary joy comes from spending quality time with his family.

John’s life has been significantly touched by cancer, affecting close
family friends and his father, who battled Stage-4 Lymphoma. Inspired
by the collective fight against this illness, including the efforts of his
sister Gina, a nurse certified in Oncology and founder of Hope Floats,
John is deeply committed to supporting cancer patients and their
families. His involvement with the Hope Floats organization is a
testament to his dedication to this cause, driven by personal experiences
and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
